Day 1

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, followed by a scenic drive from Kigali to Rubavu through Rwanda’s picturesque rolling hills. Upon arrival, enjoy a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Kivu while taking in the breathtaking views of the Congo-Nile mountains. You’ll then embark on a traditional boat ride to explore some of the islands within the lake and experience the natural hot springs up close. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing lakeside lunch and take time to unwind by the water. As the day concludes, you’ll drive back to Kigali, returning to your accommodation with lasting memories of this serene and beautiful adventure.
